Default Moose Hydro turn kit install

Just finished up the Moose hydraulic turn kit install. My pushtubes are 5 years old and the two brackets that bolt to the pushtubes were about 3/16" too narrow. The pushtubes are not bent because they are consistantly the same width the entire length. I contacted Cambridge metal who makes it and they told me there was no one else who had issues. Nor did they have a solution other than grind it down. You will then be trying to drill holes that are 1/2 a hole off. I eventually cut them and welded them back at the right width. There are not instructions on how to lift the blade. The U bolt that is used originally to lift the blade will no longer fit. I guess I will eventually bend it narrower to fit different holes. Just passing along the info if anyone is interested

How old are your pushtubes? I am guessing there is a manufacturing variance that ocurred at some point in the past. No snow yet. It all melted so nothing to even try it out on. Possibly some Thursday.

I dont know how to link. The websites are fuse-powersports.com and the moose utility division website. They are not cheap but if it holds up it will way more than pay for itself with the light commercial work I do. I will try and post pics late this week. Hopefully Vikingman can post some pics also. I am curious to see how he set his up. There is a short video at the fuse site.

Holy cow! I was thinking 3-400, but it does look like a solid setup, and I see what you mean especially if you do light commercial work

Here's the link for others: Moose Utility Division - Product Catalog
