Default sway bar mod

how exactly is the sway bar mod done does it have to come off or how do you bend it and it looks like you can't bend it much or it will hit shock springs, got to do something new grim reapers won't fit

Not knowing what you ride first choice is to completely remove the sway bar.

All the bikes I have owned the sway bar ended up in the dumpster I do not ride fast into the corners though. I cant say I have ever seen an axle break from removing the sway bar.Sway bar controls sway at high speed if you do a lot of tippy stuff like I do you will like how the rear wheel stays on the ground instead of lifting on uneven surface like rocks and such.

I had the sway bar off my 96 that finnaly died at 20000 miles so i went and bought a 09 500HO and all I do is mud/water ride anyway just havent took it off yet..Its so clutched out top speed is 40..Most of the time if i it 15 I'm doin good..So i Guess I'll pull it off..And I'm gonna make some spacers for the rear..Already have the highlifter HD springs all the way around..But when i got some weight on the back with me I'm still saggin pretty good..

I did alot of research for stock size tires on the XP and what I did was went 9" width on the front and 9" on the rear. The rear rims being 8" wide let the 9" tire run very close to original width 10" looks rides fine and NO modification nessarary to sway bar. All tires sizes do very a little in width and height and I went with the Grim Reapers also and they run wide to begin with. And it looks good too! This is what local dealers in my area are doing so you can run stock rims and just buy tires and have no issues. So after seeing it done I ran with it.
