Sorry, I wouldn't even think about it for the 800. Just don't think it necessay for the money.

I never ever even thought about the need for EBS when riding the 800. Then it came out and it was kind of the new thing on the block, that everyone seemed to think they had to have.

I do have to admit it is nice, but I worry a little bit about how dependable it will be in the long run.

I'd rather wait and get a new quad that already has it installed.

Default Perhaps a battery instead

Hey rtick with all due respect, why would you spend $800.00 on a power steering unit when you have a battery on life support? I would recommend you buy a new battery and a tender for the battery.

Coming from experience Power steering to me is pretty much worth every penny spent. With that said I would only take a bike that PS is designed for as that would make it most effective and not just a add on accessory. The best part abut PS is not the PS but the anti kickback at high speeds. Makes a huge difference in a all days ride!

Now that I have EPS, I will NEVER go back.

Having said that, I would NEVER spend $1000 to have it added to an existing quad... I'd save the money and buy a quad with EPS from the factory... a lot less hassle.

The "no" is the wife making the decision.
The "wouldn't add power steering" is hubby making the decision after talking to the wife.
