Arrow Power steering offer/now w/ a poll

All,

I talked with a Ted from ATVPOWERSTEERING.COM (877-581-0041) to ask all about this ADD on Power Steering system for Sportmans. He said that they maybe willing to give us a group discount but would need at least 10-20 sales. Right now it retails for about $1195 for Sportsman 700 and 800. Parts have an unlimited warranty motor 1 year and said they have had great reviews about the longevity of their products and it originated on the side by sides a few years ago. He was really cool to talk to and explained the differences between this product and what is used as stock on the XPs and the differences between the two. Install time and complexity about 1.5 hrs but really ends up being 3hrs b/c of having to remove all the plastic.

Some highlights are that this is a big motor where big tires 29" and tracks have no problem so when I told him my specs were small in comparison to what it could handle. Claims 50% assist. Any interest lets take some polls, IF anyone here has this product or knows someone who has please speak up and give your opinions!

Ref: ATR Polaris Sportsman Power Steering System - $1,195.00 : ATV Power Steering, Performance All Terrain Vehicle Steering Components

Any interest out there?

Will it fit the 08 500 X2 cause the gas tank is bigger. If it will fit, sign me up for my buddy.

Not sure what all models. Good point on the X2's and even the touring models. You would think a Sportsman is a Sportsman but then again they are some small variances from model to model and year to year sometimes. The TURF MODE on the X2's makes it steer easier right, from what many post about? Hmm wonder how that would compliment this.

Cheers,

R'

One of my clients in Denmark purchased this system for his 08 SP800 and it did not work correctly. The company could not figure out what was wrong with it. He finally took it off since they were very poor in returning is email questions for help. I think they finally said for him to just ship it back. That will be some coin to ship from Denmark. He ended up just purchasing a 850XP with EPS from me instead and is very happy.

I emailed them once, a while back, with some questions and got ZERO response. Not good.
