I'm in Gonzales and was able to wash the wifes car today also. Where in LA are you?

At least we don't have gators when shovelling snow. Only bears & cougars & bossy wifes. On second thought bring on the gators.

Black flies or gators? Black flies or gators? I don't know. I've been swarmed by enough black flies that I would have thought they'd slowly bleed me out and leave a large sack of skin and bones behind. At least gators quicken the process. But, then again, bug repellent doesn't work on gators. Rtick, sorry man, but my back is killing me, so I'm glad you're enjoying the snow.

Can't comment on the black flies but we sure do get some flesh eating squeeters. Try hunting the Eastern Shore, MD chesapeake bay wetlands. Bug spray? I haven't found really anything that really works except to be covered up completely then I had them go thru my sweaty tee shirts. They are not forgiving by any stretch!

Ya can keep the gators though...8-)
