theres only one thing i like about this snow fall. its easy to plow. its nice and light. but the mounds of snow are turning into mountains. im running outa spots. evon tho at the start of the seaon i started the pile back farther. but now its gotten to the point of me turning it into a nice ramp at most places. i get to go do 17 places tomorrow. and if i get calls ill have more.

Sure I will try to provide some pics between tasks tomorrow. These snow banks are now hard as a rock in my driveway and yard, lol.lol Made a slope for the kids to slide down on their sled. Now that we dug out I think what I will do is just keep my plow close enough to make passes on the new snow coming down. We will see how that goes. Chuck look at it this way, at least your making money at it, lol..lol

We had a winter a couple years back that I thought was perfect. It didn't snow a ton here in Massachusetts, but up in NH, VT, and ME it snowed like crazy. For them it is white gold. They get the downhill skiers, cross country skiers, and snowmobilers. While we had a few small storms under a foot, they had record snows just 40 miles North of us. One of the two lane highways up in the White Mountains of NH had snowbanks over 20 feet high.

So what are you saying Moose? Is that you enjoyed playing in "their" snow and having FUN at their expensee? lol....lol..Yea I could see how that would be cool not to be impacted with those high snow falls and just travel a few miles and go do some skiing and sledding on their turf....8-)

I wish we would get some more snow here in Northern Michigan. We only have like 6-8" on the ground. They are calling for about 3-5" today. I like hitting the trails with about a foot of snow on them it makes it fun and we have only had that opportunity 1 or 2 times this year.

Over here in south central Mn you might as well put the wheelers in the back of the shed.
The only place you can ride them is on the roads. And I think it will be awhile before I can even move the fish houses. Pretty much snowmobile is the only way to get on the ice for now. And if you don't keep up a good pace you get stuck with that also. We haven't had go snow down here for years.
I love it. Bring on more SNOW.

Exactly R!!! We got to rent snowmobiles and do some riding that year even late in the season. As far as the quad goes, I like to ride in almost all conditions. Although the Biblical rainstorm that almost drowned me when it was 50 degrees out didn't feel so good. They're now saying about 10" of snow up here. Sounds fine to me. Maybe I'll go ride some of the trails that are open to both sleds and ATVs. I hope you all survive down there where you seem to be getting the brunt of winter.
