Default Question on Viper winch

I currently have a no name winch on my 05 700. Will I need to get a winch mounting bracket when I buy a new winch or will I just be able to use my old one?

Winches have a standard mounting pattern, so your new winch should just drop in.
To be absolutely sure, you can measure the distances between the mounting holes and verify them against the winch you are considering purchasing.

Are you having problems with the one you have? If so just take it off and make a cardboard template to take with you to the dealer and ask to see a Polaris winch to check it against. I have had no problems with the 3000lb Venom My brother got me as a gift, but when and if it goes I will be putting a Warn in its place so keep us posted on what you find-out.
