Got the parts today and got it back together. Now when I start it and put it in gear it starts goin without pushin the throttle and I have to hold the break so it won't go newhere..what does that mean? And it will not shift into ne other gear unless I turn it off. Its like the clutch is ingaged.

First of all are you sure it's the correct belt and #???Also did you get all debris from the old belt out...Possibly debris from belt impeding proper clutch position??Also the #'s on the belt should be readable standing next to the quad...

i ordered it off babbittsonline ill have to check to make sure of the number, they might have sent the wrong one. what is the correct nmber for the belt? yes i took both clutches off and clean them very good. it started doin this right b4 the belt accuatly broke too. last night one time the engine light came on and had what i think is a code, 520193, on the dash when you cycle through the odometer. i couldnt get it to do it again tho. in nutural the belt is rotating all the time, im not sure if it supposed to do that or not and will go in ne gear easly but will not come out of gear unless i turn the bike off. the top clutch to me seems awfull tight too.

thanks for the help! i need it

this is the pn# for the belt 3211123Belt, Drive sounds like the ebs bushing or fiber washers are bad in the primary clutch which causes creeping ahead. another thing which can cause it is a misaligned belt from the engine out alighment or even a broke engine lount causes it. now that being said, this is all on what caused it on the non xp models, so i'm not not if the side ways set would be the same or not.

also what is it idling at? if it's idling too high it will not shift good and tend to creep.
