Considering the money came out of my pocket (and not yours) to fix the machine for stuff that Polaris should have fixed... I think I'm entitled to my opinion.

Talk about a statement that is not backed up by facts!

You are right, it is not Yahoo Answers here... it is a simple ATV forum where people can express their opinions. I expressed mine. You, or others don't like it... don't read it. Use the block feature... that's what it's there for.

So what was the laundy list of problems with your 500HO? Oh, wait, I thought it was forgotten... says so right in you sig line. Why don't you change it to SOLD, gone, but still bitter as a cheap microbrew about the whole thing. I think we'd all understand where you were coming from then.

How about an ECM shot at 8 months. - Sorry out of warranty.
How about a Front Diff shot at less than 400 miles. - Sorry out of warranty
Never mind the Glacier II plow mount that bent like a pretzel. - Sorry driver abuse.
Never mind the lean running/backfire even after the new ECM and a rebuild of the carb. - Sorry out of warranty.

You can't even imagine the tab.

You're a whiner. We all understand the magnitude of your injustice by now.

You missed my point on Yahoo Answers. You're in the POLARIS forum....What kind of feedback do you expect. Apparently the Suzi forum is dead in comparison. Hummm.

I'll be the first to say that Suzuki generally makes great stuff. One of the best street motorcycle manufacturers there are. Used to own a GSX-R 750 in college.

Suzuki was my first machine and it was great. Never a problem with it, but I'm not going to tell everyone that it's the best, nor would I say a brand is junk because I had one bad one, or two, or three.

DCT, it sounds like you had a bad machine and should have bought a longer warranty, but that could have made things even worse for you and more stressful...who knows... It just wasn't working for you, so you moved on. I hope it treats you well.

BTW, I just sold my 500 Sp to a guy who was looking at a new KQ. It was rather easy to show him how the Polaris was a better product. After I took him for a 5 mile test drive, he was sold on the SP after riding the KQ.

Well, while we are on the name calling thing... you are a little.... nevermind.

Anyhow, never mind all that other BS. You were the "Mr Big Deal" spouting off with all your "math" and "statistics" of happy/unhappy Polaris owner. So, where are all the "numbers"? Or, where you just pulling them out your...

Roofer,

Sadly, you are the only one in here anymore with any common sense.

Read back through the start of this thread. I never recommended Suzuki to anyone. Simply stated what I didn't like about the 550 XP's. Then when people started bashing my Suzuki, I stated what I liked about it... and even then I didn't say much. There seem to be a lot of "little people" in here that can't take any criticism of there beloved machine. You've read around enough, and you know that I'm not the only one that has had trouble with their PoPo. I won't recommend any quad to anybody... just state what I have experienced, and what I like and dislike.

Secondly, my dealer told me I didn't need an extended warranty and talked me out of it when I bought the machine. Needless to say, he was a bit embarrassed.

Lastly, I wish the guy luck with your Sportsman. Everyone has their likes/dislikes. You are smart enough to know that there are a bunch of guys with different quads that won't even go near a Polaris... and if you don't know that... well, what can I say.

For those type issues with so few miles it appears that user error and abuse caused the problems with the PoPo. Hopefully you learned from that and will take better care of the new Suzuki.

Oh and as far as brand loyalty I don't care enough about ATV's or Polaris to have any preference, they are just another toy to go have fun on and my XP's have been bullet proof and a blast.
