Great idea...only I was a day ahead of your idea. lol I pick up the wicked sister on Saturday morning!! I have no self control. If it wasn't that big of a difference I wouldn't but to me there is a huge difference. The problem I will have now is to distinguish between the two!! Ya I know...it's a tough problem to have but I think I will get through it. What the effff!!!!

The ATV-Guru.com X2 rear Bumper/Brush Guard definitely fits the 2010 XP X2 .

I pick up the other Saturday morning. I will post pics later that day. One of the 2 X2's and the other one of the wife taking turns running me over with each one breaking them in!!! I can't imagine how the ADC will work on my back side!! I'm screwed!!

Yeah, shifting to low and back to high certainly does get old if you do it a lot. I only use low in the nasty stuff.

As far a 4x4, I use it all the time in the mud around here. Use it all winter in the snow. 60% of my riding requires 4x4, putting winter in there.

Rancher AT

I agree, most trails can be excuted in 2X4... I think it is due to the independent rear suspension which creates better ground clearance. I am in 2wd while riders with solid rear axels are in 4x4 alot of the time.

I can completely grasp why 4x4 is needed in muddy or snowy terrain. Rock climbing would be another reason. I find that although my trail is fairly 'technical', when in 4x4 mode it sort of takes some of the fun out of corner slides and the occasional (and enjoyable) rear wheel spin. When things get real steep and the ground is loose....no doubt the 4 wheel drive is needed. Perhaps this ATV is just so 'grippy' that I'm not used to it.

I owned a 2008 500 X2 and liked it!

More power would have been nice though. And a few less fender plastic rattles! LOL!

I would like to see an 850 in the X2.

I testdrove the 550 X2 and felt no power difference from my 500 X2. Plus as someone wrote the 550 has a 100-200 RPM increase over the 500 and I don't see where that's a plus imo.

Would anyone know when a 850 will be offered in the X2?
