Please someone shed some light on this situation of mine...

I've read numerous threads about those bad axles on the xp's .. and I figured since mine has been making hilatious noise for months now under deceleration and low speeds that is was time to bring it in to the dealer. Made the appointment.. and decided to take her out one more time before I brought her in.

I was on some ice, tires spinning and I hit some hard pack and I heard the spike limiter "waaaack!" (normal ratcheting sound) Now I have no noise under deceleration what so ever. Its as quiet as it was when it was brand new.

Has anyone experienced this? Do you think I have a problem with my spike limiter?

It started making the noise months ago when it ratcheted up in the mountains.

Let me know!

Take it in and have them replaced.....noise or no noise. Say nothing about what happened and let them tell you if there's a problem. Do it before your warranty runs out.
