Is there a gun scabbard that mounts to the front of a 850 that anyone is using. I have a box and seat on the rear and carry a grandchild many times so I need a mount that will hold a rifle in a case for the front or behind the box, maybe a bumper mount.

 

I just drilled and mounted my gun carrier on top of my front box. It isn't a gun scabbard just the gun holders.

 

Here is the one I built, I have the front storage box installed also.

 

I guess I could not use my Kolpin scabbard and build something like "Loaderboy" to hold a gun case. I thought the lid of the front storage box might break with the weight of the gun and case moving and rocking around but that looks solid. In Colorado a gun or bow must be in a case while on a ATV or I could just use the rubber grip type.

bentarrow, the hinges seem tough on the front box so I think if you are careful and dont let it slam open they shouldnt break. I used the 4 holes on the lid to mount my rack. My gun can be in a soft case and still fit in the fin grip gun rack not sure about a bow though. Good luck. Jesse
