I have a 2010 Sportsman 500 and it did that twice today. Today was the first day in the month that I've owned it that I've been able to really get out and play around on it. But, yeah, that really concerned me hearing that clunk.

well I just went out and checked on my winch. It has the four post contactor and you can hear it click every time you hit the toggle. It works about every second or third time. I'd say the contactor is on the way out. Agreed?
