Default 850XP too wide after wheel install, suggestions?

I have installed ITP SS112 wheels and ITP TerraCross R/T tires. My problem is that the quad is too wide now for our trails in Wisconsin & Michigan as well as for my own personal preferences with the rear at 5+3 offset.

I see that ITP makes a different offset for the RZR. If I changed over to the SS112 offset 3+5 (part number 1428315404B* for the RZR 4/156) would they stick out less? My second option is to run the SS112 fronts on all 4 wheels (part # 1428313404B) If I go that way what is the largest tire that will fit on that wheel?

3rd option is to go back to stock but I prefer not too. Any suggestions and or ideas? See pictures below. First is with the rear 5+3 offset and the other two are the fronts mounted on the one side.

Thanks

Well I hate to say this but I don't think I would worry about it. I have never seen anyone checking for width in Northern Wisconsin or Upper Michigan. Most of the trails are very wide or they are logging roads. I think I would run with them and then worry about if I got stopped. I know this may not be cool with some, but as my big brother says, "Don't worry about it, just pay the fine." IMO

Problem is if I hit the 50 inches gates I am SOL. I am also planing a trip west where the gates are 53 inches max. The XP is wider now.

I hear you on the gate thing, that would be bad news. Speaking of gates, I don't know if I have ever seen any here in Wisconsin or the U.P. Most of the areas I ride at are logging roads or smowmobile trails with no gates, due to, I would guess, the width of the groomers. Has anyone seen any gates in this area?

I have seen several on the dusty trails. They were wider than normal from people adjusting them.

Don't consider tracks on that puppy. They bring the width to 59".

Thor, the 3+5 wheel is even wider.

It's simply best just to stick with the stock wheels for now, unless you plan on lifting it.

IMHO...I would just go with the front size (26x9x14) on the rear. Lots of XP owners are doing that mode with a lot of success. Especially if you will be trail riding.

Good luck...
