Default CV Joint Spring Clip???

New here - HI Everyone!

Does anyone have a part number (and / or vendor) for the spring clips that go into the CV joint and the axle goes through. It's not listed in the Polaris parts diagrams and the local dealer (service mgr) said they have never been able to find them - only in CV Joint kits.

2001 Sportsman 500 HO

Thanks!

Rear axle I assume? I've never seen the clip in the hundreds of oem kits i have put in. I may have an old axle laying around i could rob one off for you.

I am quickly coming to the conclusion that it isn't as important as I am trying to make it be! I'm not missing any - I thought I had read to replace them, but I am pretty convinced now that I must have misread.

I do appreciate your offer - but I believe I'll be fine!

Thanks!

Mine broke getting the CV apart so I NEED to find one somewhere. I assumed I could get them from the dealer, maybe not.

They use the Polaris fiche - not in there.

If you do manage to find one, would you please let us know her where and the part number?

Thanks!

The next time I get on e-bay, I'll ask CVMAN.

ok i just checked(i should have in the first place, sorry) and here is the both clips for the rear cv joint. 1350042Ring, Spring ,7710505Ring, Retaining
the first number is the clip that holds the cv into the rear housing, and the second number is the clip that holds the cv joint together on the inside on the shaft.
