I'm new to this forum. I need help with rear breaks ,i cant get any pressure on foot pump. It has been sitting for 2 years . I tried bleeding it icant get any pressure. I taken it apart cleaned it and put back together new oil still does not work. There is no leaks, oil comes out of bleed screwin spurts not a stedy flow.

welcome to the forum. the polaris rear brakes are not very good and alot of them do loose the pressure as you see. if bleeding doesn't work and you know thers no air in the system, sometimes laying a heavy object on the brake pedal overnight helps build up pressure back up. it's worth a try, but don't guarantee it. imo

The foot brake on my Sport 400 is adjustable via a screw, that looks like it holds the pivot arm onto the caliper. Check to see if it works w/hand lever. If it does, the hydraulic system is working. The foot brake on mine is mechanical, not hydraulic. turn screw clockwise to tighten up,then back off till you have about 3/4" play in pedal. ??? I think 3/4 is about right. That is where mine is set. Hope this helps you out.
