I am looking to trade in my 99 sportsman 500 for either of the 2 used sportsman 700 plus i have to pay 2k cash.

They are both the same price here is the break down

07 700 efi 4.5k miles
Body is in great condition, has a 2up ridding package on it with a winch, windshield, hand warmers, front and back bumpers, and chrome stock rims
05 700 efi 1k miles
body in great condition , moose plow kit and a winch

 

I would vote for the 05 with less miles!

 

Ride them both, look them over closely, and see if you can find out how they have been maintained.

In theory, the lower mileage quad "sounds" like a better deal, and probably is, but there's no guarantee.

 

I'd rather have a high mileage machine that was well maintained over a low mile abused machine. I would look them both over closely. You've owned a Polaris and know what to look for probably.
