Default Brakes

has anyone ever tried to separate the front and rear brakes on a sportsman??

i was wondering if it were possible to add the fourth brake to the left wheel then somehow add another brake handle to the right side.

My rear brakes on my 500 HO are totally crap. I don't think you would be able to squeze a lever hard enough for them to do anything. If I stand hard on them I can get them to lock up but it really doesn't do anything to slow the machine.
