Hi,

I see no one responded to you. Usually, the site is pretty friendly. As a fellow Predator owner, let me se if I can help.

I do not know the factory numbers on the jets, but I am sure there is a site that will tell you. Also, you can check the site of the pipe manufactorer, see what they recommend and compare to what is in your bike now.

Alos, what you can do to see if the jetting is correct is to read the plug. You will need to install a new plug, then run the bike a half to three quarter throttle for several minutes of riding. You then chop the throttle and shut it off immediately. (this takes the idle circuit out of the test, as you want to read the plug while using the primary jet) The plug should look tan in color. If it is white, then you are too lean. If it is black, then too rich.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Gas consumption, if jetted properly, should not be adversely effected.

Chop the throttle, you would be going and in an instant, let the engine go back to idle, and then shut it off. Pull in the clutch, let your finger literally slip off the thumb lever, engine then is back to idle as quickly as the RPMs will drop down,.
