Default 2010xp ground clearance

I thought that the xp's were supposed to have 12" of ground clearance? i was reading my owners manual today and its says in the specifications that it has 11.6" of GC. I know that isnt that much but hey its not 12"

anyone with a 2009, can you look in your OM and see what it says?

thanks

I think it might be something like when Polaris calls it's 760cc engine an 800 and that type of thing. Just a thought.

not quite sure if the 12" is truly 12" with stock tires but with the additiion of 27" tires, you will have more than 12"

Easy there Rambo! Just wanted to know what the big deal about .4 of an IN. of ground clearance was was! Sorry to step into your high parade! If you look at the Polaris website it says 12.0 and I know that is what all the magazines say it is too. The quick fix would be to measure it yourself at the lowest point on the quad and go from there.

Umm, you lose between .5" and 1" as soon as you sit on it. It's like that on every quad. I'm with D57H on this one (I can't believe it either!)
