Whats better: Wider or Lower???
#1
I wanted to go and buy some wheel spacers for my Scrambler tomorrow but once I took the mesurements I noticed that the durablue's would make the front en 48 1/2" wide and the rear would be a whopping 51" wide!! I liked the idea of spacers because I could just swap them on and off and even between my two quads. I am also planning on getting some 20" and 21" tires too. Thought I could do the spacers, gain some stability and save some dough...
Anybody running this wide? What is the width of those Laegers we see in Heuvos? They seem super wide.
Thanks

Brian,
Jim Maloney is running the spacers w/ kenda dominator tires.
I think Robert "azelmo" just got some spacers.
Mike Chero has some + 2 A-arms.
I believe that either of the three of these persons will be more than willing to help.
Me personally, I believe that wider and lower go hand and hand. You'll actuall need both.
Good Luck,
EC

Buster...I really wanted to get spacers but that makes one wide machine with the Bearclaws. My trailor is only about 48 1/2" wide...The quad would be 51! I don't mind unbolting every ride, it's the ride quality I am curious about. I will try and reach Jim or Mike.
