Default Aftermarket Battery Box

I contacted a battery supplier that I know and asked if they had a replacement for my 04 Sportsman 600. He said let me check my book, "yep I got one."

Well, the battery fits length and width wise in the battery box. Height wise its about two inches too tall. Is there a place where I may be able to order an aftermarket battery box?

Is he sure about the battery he had? If it's model specific it should be the same demensions as the original. IMO Some different year machines have different size batterys.

I appears that option is no longer available. Thanks for the tip though.

itsfit, mine is a molded box that sits behind the airbox and is bolted to the frame.
