K&N or UNI?

Hey, you guys are smarter than some of the diesel guys I have to deal with!
Just spoke to a guy with 10k on a rebuild, and his chromium levels doubled on his oil analysis. So did SILICON! What air filter? Just put in a spanky new K&N a few hundred miles ago!
Simply put, more top cylinder wear from dirt getting through K&N filter!

I have a K&N and it gave me about 3mph on the top end. If you have prefilters for your system, it's a great filter. If not it still is a great filter. It will last forever because you can clean and reoil it. But if you're not running a prefilter, check it frequently to make sure oil is still catching the dirt.

On another note, I have something to point out about K&N.
