Default braided brake lines

I was wondering if anyone has tried to put late model steel braided brake lines on a older sportsman.I have a 98 sportsman with a cracked front hose and thought maybe i could upgrade to the better hoses. someone let me know if it will work...thanks

As long as the length and fittings are the same, I can't see any reason why not.

I went to the local hydraulic shop and had them make a set for the rear of my scrambler when I extended the swing arm. $70 for three inch extended lines with the correct fittings at both ends. They also had a choice of red, blue, black, and clear/stainless colors. The used Earl's parts.
