Default Polaris tires

Will 27x10x12 front 27x12x12 rear (ZILLAS) be too big for my 2006 sportsman 700 with stock rims? My cousin seems to thing I should go with 27x9 front 27x11 rear so it doesn't hurt my power!!! And the Zillas are just one of a few tires I'm looking at.

The rears will be fine but the fronts will most likely rub tie rod ends on stock rims without spacers...

Do you think 27x9x12 will work on the front with no spacers?

Check your clearance now with your tires in the front to the tie rod ends...I have 8's on the front of mine with about 3/4" clearance....I would say 9"s will be pushing it also...I'm sure you'll get more responses from other guys that are running zillas...

9" fronts wil give VERY little cleaance and will most likely rub when the tire hits bumps.

Thanks for the input...So the power should not be an issue? Just size?

you will loose a little, but the 700 would have no issue turning them. i would however use low range more when playing in thew mud or hauling heavy

I just put on 27x9x12 and 27x11x12 Zilla's last week.
The 9's rub. I flipped the tierod and no issues.
If the Zilla's came in a 10 and 12 width on a 12" rim I would of got them but they don't so that should make your decision easy peasy.

They do run small. My 27's are a tad over 26. I hear the 28's run more true to size but thats getting pretty big.

The 14" Zilla's run true to size and come in wider widths but then you have to get new rims as well.

Great tire by the way. very different riding feel then the stockers.
