Default opinion's of highlifter outlaw clutch kits

well i pulled the trigger on a clutch kit for my 800 today i know it will never be as fast as the 850 but man i never thought going from my 850 to the 800 would seem like getting on a 500 it just feels that much less, its crazy so i am hoping to get a little more grunt back with the clutch it i probably should have done it when i put the 28"s on but o well better late than never hope it helps some anyhow

Did you get the performance or big tire clutch? Either way I believe they are EPI kits. I have the big tire kit and love the extra low end grunt. You'll probably still not be totally happy because there is no comparing the two machines. XP's were designed more for performance and the 800 is more of a work horse. Buying the girlfriend a machine once my TRX450R and 95 Bronco sell and will more than likely be another 800. The XP's are nice but none of my accessories/plows for the sp's will work on them so I'm not going to chunk out the extra $.

Thats correct the High Lifter kits are made by EPI and you will like it! There is a huge difference between the 800 and 850. I bought the 800 right when the 850 came out and couldn't afford the price difference for the 850. Both are nice machines though!

i like the dalton kits, but i'm sure the epi will do a fine job for you as well. it will never make up those 50 cc's of the 850 though.
