bought a we100811 epi u-joint for front axle on e-bay a year ago and they bagged it wrong or something,looks clean no xtra staple holes,,,,,,don't fit! anyone have the trw or napa#for front inner ujoint on a 01scrambler 500 4x4????? i think i'm going to try to ride somewhere this weekend,,,,,,sitting on jack stands u-joint empty right now,,,,,,,,,,

 

well that really sucks. have had that happen to me as well.

I would check as Napa or Car Quest should have a listing for one!

 

thanx much Dodge57Hemi for the advice,the search feature here sent me to another forum to whom i need to thank,he said most polaris u-joints inner front axles are#338 either napa,federal. spicer#1-0170 interchanges from#338 is what i got from car quest.would not have got without#. also $10cheaper.hey stendori,was it epi that mispackaged yours????

 

Sorry to hear about the ujoint not working. If you run into a problem like that call EPI 218-829-6036 and they can see what the issue is and hopefuly take care of it. I know Polaris mainly uses four different joints and they switch them around quite about (different vendors supplying parts to them) and every once in a while thier fitment doesn't get the update.

 

that # fits pretty much all the inner front U joints of the polaris's.i'd like to give it back cause it don't fit anywhere i need,,,,,,,

 

does yours have inside "C" clips or out side clips?

 

the one on the bike is an inside c/clip,the one represented is outside+ smaller,,,,,,
