I have to agree with the statements of caution as it is your first quad. The 850 is so smooth and plush, it'll get fast on you before you know it. Just be mindful of the power untill you're used to it, because an 850 can get out from under you in a hurry if you let it.

I went out with funride a few days ago I took my eyes off him for a sec and he was rolling into the woods... funny stuff but seriously the xp is a large fast bike!

What a blast we had. Great day of riding and looking forward to another! 50 some odd miles and about 20 miles into it, I had the 850 almost on top of me. Came around a corner on some long hay-like grass and goosed the bike a bit too much......*** end broke completely loose, then caught a dry mud rut. Luckily I was able to keep from getting crushed by it. Right shoulder is still sore a week later and I've got bruises on my back and arms from the impact. It was a really nice day and I was extremely tempted to take the helmet and shoulder pads off. Good thing I didn't....paint is missing on the helmet right around where my eye would have impacted stone hard clay and rocks.

In addition, another rider we were with rolled his machine later in the day. It was all Unit's fault. He was provoking us.

Heed the statements of caution......
