I'll check it out.

I just love that picture of the ranch gates with the green fields and mountains in the background.....and the sweet 18 wheeler backed in.....That is a frameable shot.

So how much duty would you pay on a new Quad?? 400HO for example?? Does Polaris void warranty if bought in the USA like Canam does??

Only know two people who did it one bought a used 700 Sportsman but I forget the price, the other Bought a New 420 Rancher, he told me he saved $2000. Not sure about the waranty but since there only 6 months long there over before you know it anyways. Not sure whats all involved in doing it.

As long as you're not in a hurry, they move more like a turtle. It's like driving a "monotone".

The "new" 400 Sportsman is the worst ATV I ever ridden (but then I have never ridden a Scrambler). I would buy a used anything before I bought one of these.

They feel cheap, look cheap, and feel cheap riding them. The WORST engine braking in the industry and the they make soo much noise I would swear they have major mechanical problems right out of the box. What's with all that banging and slapping noise at low speed??

I think Polaris should sell them for $2995 and even at that I wouldn't have one.

ouch... someone has a bad taste in there mouth!!! It's funny you say that cuz one of my good friends bought his wife a 06 sportsman 450 (same motor as the new ones and in the larger chassis) and it is a perfect quad for her... But it's for HER. It has well over 1000 miles and has never been in the shop yet. I think it's a good quad but not for someone who likes speed and agressive trail ridding!

Yeah, I understand that Specta. I was just hoping that when they came out with the 850 X2 they'd also put in power steering. Do I need it with my Atlas-like upper body strength? No, but it might be nice at some point.
