ok cool. thanx alot. i thaught it would make it run better but it didn't. it still bogs way down when i hit therottle and won't idle. i'm not familiar with these things yet. it has spark and good compression. i cleaned the carb and the float looks good so i don't know. if anybody can help i would appreciate it.

its either to rich or to lean. Try running with the choke on this will let you know if its rich or lean. Then Try moving the needle jet clip to the leanest setting which would be clip on the highest slot if running with the choke makes not difference.

When you cleaned the carb, did you reset the slide hight? Start by using a .200 dia drill bit placed under the slide. adjust the throttle cable so the slide is just barely gripping the drill bit. Make sure the idle screw is all the way out first. once the slide is set, use the idle screw to adjust idle. (if you can get it started)
What is your air screw set at? A small adjustment of the air screw can make a big differance in some cases.
Did you blow air through all the air ports in the carb? (I'm sure you did,but just checking all the basics)
