need a new battery

Default need a new battery

i have my quad upsate and it needs a new battery....what is the physical size of the battery, for a 2000 sportsman...i forgot to measure it and see that some are 7 in, and some are 5.5....tia, ERIK

Which model sportsman is it going in?

There was only a 500 Sporstman made in 2000. All 500 and many other models use a L=5.3", W=3.5" and H=6.5".

Thought they had a 335 too. But figure they'll use the same battery too.

Sorry, forgot about that odd duck.LOL but it was really a 500 Sportsman with a smaller motor and wheels only.

All 3 of my popo's were able to swap batteries. They were all older as well. I'm guessing the newer ones probably have more of a variance if for no other reason than Polaris can charge more for a different sized battery.
