Default New pipe for sp500 EFI

Just got this and thought I would share, for you 500 owners. If your looking for a pipe I recommend this one. It has a nice deep tone at idle and low rpms. Sounds more like a piped big cc. sports quad when you open it up. It was designed to bolt up just like the factory exhaust. I would recommend getting the longer springs if your model has the shorts. I literally thought I was going to snap the originals but a speedworks tech reassured me they would go on. As for performance goes, I noticed a fair amount of improvement off of the bottom end, but a big improvement through out the mid range into the top end. Also noticed better throttle response. Another plus was, with this slip on there is no need to use a fuel optimizer or rejet unless you plan to go with their full exhaust. For $265 I give this one a thumbs up!

Another bonus is it looks like it will not rust like the steel stock muffler. I,d get one but I deer Hunt with others and the stock muffler is kinda loud as it is ,Id have look for quieter not a hot rod header sound they would shoot at me and not the dear if I had that.LOL

Your right, it shouldn't have rust issues. It's all aluminum except for the tip. I should have noted this pipe will fit many other 500's, EFI's and Carb models and is rebuildable. I went with this one since it can be used on EFI's with out modifications to the fueling. I've found alot of pipes for the 500's but many of them don't recommend for use on the EFI models and or suggest rejetting for carb models.
