Default outlaw 500 clunking noise

my outlaw has been making a clunking noise while moving in reverse but only when i turn. i can push it backwards and if i push it straight there is no noise but if i turn it left or right there is a clunking noise. have jacked the back end up and turned the wheels by hand and can not get any noise. is this bad cv joints? also what is the best way to "burp" the inner boots. i already tore one of them cause i could never get all of the air out and get it to fit properly
