Hey there, I have a 04 polaris sportsman 500ho. When I first fire it up it runs fine and then after it idles for about 5 minutes it stalls out. Then it wont start back up, the problem is it isnt getting any fuel. So I got a different fuel pump and put it on but it does the same thing. Any suggestions? Or is it maybe that both pumps are bad?

 

this not an efi correct? if not check the float level or for a plugged idle circuit or jet. also check to make sure the vent lines form the tank and carb arent blocked or pinched.

Loosen the gas cap , if it runs its the gas tank vent on top of the tank under the plastic if its sat for awhile the main jet or pilot jet in the carb could be plugged
