Default 2008 Polaris 700 EFI x2

I'm having a problem with the engine cutting out above 25mph or as I rev it in neutral. Check engine light has come on and I was able to get 3 codes out of it.. 51, 52, and 54. The first two point to electrical problems w/ injectors and the 54 is not in my manual. I have recently had some trouble with the battery connection where I had to wiggle the wires to get it to start. I am wondering if these could be related. I noticed when I revved it in the shop, the display panel would dim significantly when it was sputtering and cutting out. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yes it's related. The battery contacts need to be tight and clean. These bikes need constant electrical power or they will not run right. You will have stumbling, backfires, stalling and hard starts. I found this out the hard way, after cleaning and tighting down my battery cables it has been trouble free.

Thanks, but there is no engine temp lamp on this, its all digital dash. No biggie tho. I did find a loose wire and it seems to be the root of the problems. Thanks all for your input.

If it is like my 08 500 HO when it gets hot the whole cluster will flash red and put out a warning that says hot. check your owners manual. I will bet it has a warning light for overheating.
