I am trying to find out how to install the ADC switch on my ho 500 x2. Using the search to find ADC switch and other key words does not seem to do me any good. Is there a key to using the search?

 

Howdy x2 bum...........do you already have ADC on the quad and just trying to replace an existing switch......or trying to add ADC to the x2......NoJoke

 

Hey NoJoke. I already have the ADC, but it is on all the time. They posted on how to install a switch to change it to on demand. Mine is a 2007 and Polaris changed to a switch in 08.

 

I didn't know the ADC on the 2007 was "switchless" or on all the time.......my X2 has EBS only.......are you sure it's not the EBS that you're thinking of?........,

 

AHHH! Electronic Braking System? Maybe that is my problem. What is the ADC?

 

EBS works on the rear wheels only and ADC makes it to where all four wheels are braking......under 15 mph or something like that. On the Polaris ATV website, look under features and it shows a tidbit of info for the ADC.......I have ridden Sportsmans with ADC and I like it a lot for steep terrain.........EBS is OK too......ADC better in my book. You don't like the EBS ?.........

Yes it is the ADC. I bought a 2008 service manual. It should have the stock switch set up in it that I can replicate. I found if using the search use the advanced.

 

Just a note about using search. Hasn't been working right for me either, unless I use the Advance search tab.

Try using that and it should give you some threads to check out.
