Ok I just got my HPD aggressive clutch kit for my 500 Scrambler ( can't wait to put it on).....
I was wondering how loud the HPD header is ?
it looks like it has the most bang for the buck as far as performance goes and if I put there cam in the dyno charts show an increase from about 36hp to 48hp and they also have an carb air box mod for the 500 that they say will boost another 11/2 to 2 hp anyways back to the ????? how loud is the header I am not conserned about the looks of it just performance.

Thanxs to all who reply

Have a good one

I talked to them yesterday. They said the pipe with the silencer is around 93-95 db. Not much louder than the stock.

Hold the phone, stop the presses, HPD has just found the holy grail of Polaris performance!

A 33% increase in power with a HPD cam? Did I read that right?

Holy Mackeral Fourlix, this is what you need.

Send those parts back 3TV this is it !!

I'm reaching for the phone right now.

I agree, those numbers do seem a bit tilted. Never go by what the companies say. They will always make it sound better then it is. Try to find out what the real world numbers are before you drop money down on it.

I had that set up on my 2000 500, it was sweeeet!
Nice thuuummmp!,thuuummmp!,thuuummmp! sound.
Its not tinny or cheap sounding, it is better not louder. You will be happy, and so will your riding partners.
See Ya Drew
