My old RZR had a 60" plow and it never stopped it. I always thought that Polaris should have made a72" plow for it. The XP is only 150 pounds or so less so I think it will probably push snow just fine.

Im a pretty heavy guy as well, so Im sure my XP wont have a problem pushing the 72", cant wait to try it out with a good amount of snow, I'll let everyone know how it works then!

I dont see any issues with the XP pushing a 72" blade. I had a 07 Honda Rincon 680 that was able to do it even without low gear.

Let me put all this into perpective. I live not too far away from Pembroke, so basically we have the same weahter. I push my snow with a 60" moose pow and a 800 sportsman. No problem pushing snow at the beginning of the season, driveway gives traction but as the winter goes, ice builds up on the driveway, snow banks get higher and you end up trying to push snow out of a tunnel. With a 60" plow, I end up spinning because I just have not enough weight. I send the scale well into the 275 and beyond, I carry another 200 llbs of gymn weights behind me on the bike and my tires have over 250 ice studs in each of them.

I foresee much issues for you this winter. Let's all pray we do not get heavy snow!

Everyone seems to have their own opinions, My buddy has a 72" on his 660 Grizz, he said he never has any issues, Another buddy has a 72" on his 600 Sportsman, again no issues...If worse comes to worse I'll just buy a 60" blade to replace the 72"!

Chains really can help when things get icy. With a few hundred pounds of extra weight and chains on all four tires you can push some shocking amounts of snow.

Well I got to try out my Moose 72" blade on the 850 XP, and lets just say it handles the snow quite easily! We got about 25-30cms of snow, followed by 2-4 cms of freezing rain, the 850 XP never missed a beat!
