Default Got my 72" Moose Plow on!

I just put a 72' Moose setup on my XP 850 last night, and let me say I am VERY impressed with this system, it is built very tough, it was very simple to install and looks great too!

Anyone thinking of a plow system should definatly look at Moose, Ive owned Cycle Country and Glacier, Moose tops them!

Where are the pics? I'd really like to see it. Also, where did you buy it and how much did it run. I'm kind of throwing the idea of a plow around. It's kind of tough for me to justify as I have a big Toro snowblower.

I will post pics tonight, I bought mine from a local shop in my hometown in Ontario at a cost of $550, but I also bought a 72", which is kinda overkill...

Go big or go home!

I'm thinking that is too much plow for any amount of snow over 6 inches, especially if it is wet snow.. Even then you may need chains to keep going straight with it angled. JMO, but wondering what other who plow think. I have a 60 inch and I'm inpressed on how much snow it will move, so maybe you might be OK.

That looks great I am interested to see how a72" plow works too I have a 60" and when the snow gets deep seems like I spend alot of time spinning and have a real hard time with it angled have to hit it straight maybe it's just me but I hope she works as good as it looks

I used to push 8 inches of wet snow with my 91 Honda 4-Trax 300 with no problems, I think my 850 will do just fine, plus I weigh 260lbs, so that should help with the traction issue!

I have a 60" with the same mounting system. when I upgraded from 660 grizzly to my new sp800, it was a $60 mounting plate, very easy. the Griz's wench mounting was lower and I did have trouble with cable fraying. The angle looks much better on the Sportsman. Also with 60" I found when I angle the blade I can clear the sidewalks with out getting into the grass (well maybe a little).

I have a snow blower and did use it when we recieved over 12" of wet snow, but then I cleaned up with the blade. MUCH MORE FUN!

Has anyone tried the shields on the blades? Looks like it will help with clean up, but not sure if they hold to much snow on the blade....

Nice looking system. Hey where did you get your HID's in Canada? Are those the 5000 or 6000 bulbs?
