The 1.5 is MUCH better than stock (lets face it, the stock one is total garbage). The ride is better and I can really tell the difference on jumps. In fact, I'm looking to do something with the front suspension now - the rear is so good that I seem to notice the bumps and such on the front even more now.
I got mine on ebay - only paid $90 for it. A guy had bought it and tried to install it on a Yamaha (???) - So I got a good deal. New they run about $160. Hot Seat carries them and I know my dealers does as well. If you've got the cash - make the investment!

I have the RCR stage 1 kit on my 2000 trailblazer and I am completely satisfied. The difference is amazing. I got the low to midrange kit after talking to Rick Ritter and explaining my riding conditions. As someone already mentioned, his customer service is excellent. He'll answer all your questions and make suggestions based on what YOU want. Anyway, I would definitely recommend going with the kit for the Trailblazer.
The kit does only include the primary spring and it is an extra $65 for the full clutch kit. Also, there really is no kit for the 500 Scram 4X4, but Rick will put one together for you. It does end up costing more than the Trailblazer kit.

My kit just came to the door. As soon as my wife gets home from work to watch the baby, I will make my way to the garage to install it.
Not sure when I will get to test it though, as the snow we have makes riding anything but a snowmobile out of the question.

Apparently "Jack" you must also lack in the skills of reading because the topic of this post wasnt on the progress of modification, but on a particular mod in itself ,not what you think is the beginning or the end..Apparently you lack the skills to communicate on a forum with people without a slur towards their (our) knowledge or desire of what we want
to do to our particular machine's...you have proven yourself to be very smart about polaris quads and know one has questioned that..But geeze do yourself a favor oh honarable one and take 10 deep breath's before you respond to a post, with a response as illiterate as your was..

When I had my TB I went with RCR's lowend kit for mine, For the money I really cant complain at all, The lowend performance went up quite a bit and made woods riding and wheeling much easier and more enjoyable, I sold the TB and went with a 400 because the power is much more suited to my size, at 6' and 230 lbs the 250 was just not going to make enough power for me. The only gripe I had with the pipe was the silencer fastens with a clamp and the bracket isnt that great but it was a SMALL blip compared to the the gains. I say go for it you shouldnt be disapointed

Yes, you can choose any setup you want. The HPD stuff does cost a bit more though. Some people like the looks of the HPD pipe better. You can get a nickle plated (chrome) pipe from HPD too.
I personally don't care. I am a "form follows function" type a guy. I don't care how something looks as long as it performs, and the RCR pipe seems to performe great.
