Is the rcr stage 1 kit cheaper for the trailblazer than it is for the scrambler.

I have an RCR Stage 1 kit on my 97 Scrambler. I love what it did for mine. Instant power. Way better performance than stock.

The RCR for the trailblazer is $310 including shipping. I should be recieving my kit by the weekend. I will be adding it to my 2000 Blazer too.

I will let you know how it is.

Only words of caution I've heard about the kit is the clutch kit only includes the primary spring. You should really pay the extra $$ and ask for a secondary spring and weights as well so you'll get the most out of it. I think it'll cost you another $60. Don't be afraid to call RCR (or HPD) in person and ask questions - they are both super friendly and ready to help without any sales pitches.

That is true, you only get the spring with the RCR kit. But for most, it is a good strt. I think it is another $65 for the full clutch kit.

Another note, Rick at RCR also sells HPD stuff. He knows his and the HPD stuff well enough to tell you what would be better for you. Give him a call. Very nice guy to talk with.

Rick's customer service is second to NONE. If you need help he's only a phone call away.

Apparently some can't read that "Stage 1" means "Stage 1". It's the starting point only. Rick's stage one kit is a great value that works well on stock atv's. If you want more, just tell Rick what you want. He can provide with any weights, springs or helix you may need.

Stage one is "not" the end of the line, only the beginning.

I will be installing a RCR Stage 1 Kit on my '96 Scrambler as soon as I get it. (Soon I hope) I called Rick and he was very helpful. Should work out just fine. Good service is just as important as a good product!

'96 Scrambler w/K&N filter & Boyesen Power Reeds,
Soon to have RCR Stage 1 Kit.
