Which would be best bang for buck? I dont have a ton of money to throw around, but for some good performance increase, i'd be willing to splurge. I love the ride of this bike and am just toying with bumping up the performance on it.
Thanks

Pardon me, but I'm still a newbie.

What's a "green spring"? What are the benefits from installing one?

Since you already have a different primary spring, which is part of the stage 1 kit, I'd get the 414 kit myself, cuz a pipe and freer flowing filter won't do a whole lot, although it will help. I don't know much about the 414 kits, but I imagine it'll wake up the TBoss. And you could always add the RCR stage 1 kit later. Then you should really have a lot more "oomph"

The green spring is a stiffer primary clutch spring that causes the engine to rev a little higher before engagement and pull harder through the midrange. Costs less than $30 and you can install it yourself. There have been a few posts discussing the results. Someone here did a nice post that detailed the improvement up through 40mph.

I just talked to Rick at RCR a few days ago about the 414, and he said in the 325 magnum that the 414 with air box mods and a new pipe would give the 425 mags a run for their money. I would have to say spend the money to punch it out, but then you get into the whole deal of clutch mods, new muffler, ect. I think he said to do everything would be near $1000!

I've put the RCR kit on mine minus the silencer. I can wheelie mine from a standstill with a good tug on the bars. I haven't been out where I can run it out yet, though from everything Ive read it won't gain any topend. The 414 kit sounds cool to me for a number of reasons: [ol][*]more cc's = more power[*]for less money you have a quad that's fairly close to a Scrambler[*]THE SLEEPER FACTOR (no one expects this quad to be quick!) [/ol]Add to that some alum. wheels and this puppy has woke up!
