Default Amsoil #'s for SP500

I run Amsoil in all my machines and I thought that I would share some of the crossreferance numbers that I have for changing all the fluids in a Polaris Sportsman 500 H.O.

Polaris 0W-40 Premium Synthetic = Amsoil Formula 4-Stroke OW-40 (AFF) Need two quarts (1.9 l)

Polaris Synthetic Gearcase Lubricant (AGL) part#2873602 = Amsoil Series 2000 Synthetic Chaincase Lube (TCC)
Need 32 oz's (948 ml) 3 bottles

Polaris Premium Demand Drive Hub Fluid part#2871654 = Amsoil Shock Therapy Light (STL)
Need 5 ounces (150 ml) One bottle

Thank you. Amsoil and most any good name brand synthetic oil is as good and many times better than the Polaris stuff.

You can also buy Wix 51358 or NAPA (made by wix) 1358 for less than the Polaris oil fiters and they are better filters.

On the 500 Sportsman the rear end oil is both the tranny and rear diff "All in one". The 500's tranny is the 500's rear diff also. Not a separate "tranny" and "rear diff" like on most other ATVs.

Right on the money TLC. That's why I didn't list the gear lube. I belive all the twins (600-700-800) require the gear lube due to the rear diff's being separate from the tranny.
Any one have the # for a K&N filter?
