Default Choke Replacement

Hey guys. I'm planning to replace the choke on my 98' xplorer 300. Is there anything I will need to watch out for? From what I can see I can simply take off the old choke cable from the carb, put on the new and be done. Is there a setting adjustment or will the new cable and control be preset? I plan to order a Cable/Choke Control from Bike Bandit part #1009948. Thanks for your input.

it should have some adjustment to make the plunger is setting all the way down in the seat to close off the enrichenr circuit from letting more gas in when not needed.

Just make sure there is some slack in the cable.
