96 425 Magnum Flywheel question
I am new to this site and I have looked around for the answer to my question... and I haven't found it as of yet. I have a 1996 magnum 425 as I said in the title, and the stator and flywheel had issues from a previous owner. I replaced the stator with one bought on Ebay, and I do not like the way that the flywheel looks. It has a chip about half way up the carter key groove. I am gonna get another one where ever I can find the cheapest good one available. It says FF95 on it and I looked this up on Ebay. I have seen a lot of FF95's on ebay and some of them are even from the mid 2000's. Mine has 6 magnets, and some of the FF95's I have seen on Ebay dont show any noticable magnets at all on them. They seem smooth. I am wondering if Any FF95 will work or will I have to get a certian FF95 Flywheel? Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks...
Thanks...

Thanks for the Web site... I don't really know how we could get this part to me harley, I don't make it a habit of sending money to people over the internet so even though I would love to have it if the price is right, I don't have a lot of faith in the internet...

I have a 99 sportsman 500 that the magnets came loose on and locked the motor luckly enough it didn`t harm the stator, so I ordered a new flywheel and it came with no spaces between the magnets it looked like 1 solid piece (like there was a cover over the magnets) I questioned this saying the new flywheel was wrong and the Polaris dealer said to me its old technology versus new. I like the fact that the magnets have a cover over them because now I have no worries of them ever jambing against the stator.
Do some more research on the new flywheel you will see that Polaris has actually done something for the better for a change.
