whats up guys. i have a 95 polaris scrambler 400. i'm having trouble getting spark to the plug.what i mean is that i'm getting power to the coil wire but it won't fire the plug. i put a tester to the coil wire boot and i am getting plenty of power there but when i test the plug with the wire hooked up to it i'm getting no spark. can anybody tell me what would cause this. i tryed three brand new plugs so it not a bad plug. i'm stumped and could use some help with this. thanx alot guys.

 

try a new wire

 

I had one of those one time that would run good sometimes and sometimes not, i finally caught it ,when wasn't running and it turned out to be the spark plug cap was bad.

check just the cap with an ohmmeter if it's more than 5000 ohms...................
