i have a 2006 polaris 500atv that has been damaged, i have a friend that has a 2001 polaris 500 that has been lightly damaged and was giving it to me. i want to know if the parts will interchange. all i want to do is get one or the other going again , my wife loves the polaris.

 

alot of differnt parts on them i do beleave like the electronics.

 

You can look at schematics/cross reference part #'s on bike bandit but I think there was quite a bit of changes in 04 or 05. Definitely would be worth your time to check and save some $ if possible!
