Biggest reason I asked was because I am buying a 2011 400HO come spring. A friend lives in Northern Ontario, has a 2004.5 500HO, and it has started every time he has turned the key, whether it is -50c, or +30C.

Great cold starters, and he does not have a oil or coolant heater either.

No tender they are in a detached garage (not heated) and I start them up usually every couple of weeks anyway, I take the garbage and recycling down the road with the Quad to the transfer station about 1/2 KM away so this keeps them used all winter.......But a tender is the way to go if they need to sit too long for sure.........Caper..........

Sweet!! CDN Tire always have the CTEK Tenders on sale. May get one for next winter, in case I do not go out everyday.

And the 425 and 335. All the dry sumps. Same motors just different bores and strokes.
