Albert weber assembeled under license " Liberty engine" 800 & 850, KTM 525, Fuji for the 500 & 550 and single diesel engine 450, Yanmar 3 cilinder diesel engine 900 cc, ABM greiffenberger for the 30 hp electric motor in the ranger, AEON for the small bores 50 & 90 cc.

Don't know exctly who makes the medium bores for the phoenix or trailblazers. All companies that know a thing or 2 about engines.

Robin (a subsidiary of Fuji Heavy Industries, which is the owner of Subaru) develops and supplies all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and snowmobile engines for U.S.-based leisure equipment maker Polaris Industries Inc. Starting in 1995 with the Polaris Magnum 425 4-stroke ATV and in 1997, with the introduction of the "twin 700" snowmobile engine Polaris started the development and production of in-house produced power plants, know as the "Liberty" line of engines, now found in many models across their current production lines. This production makes many Polaris products 100% American made. Fuji Heavy Industries now also maintains a US based production plant, in conjunction with Polaris, so that all engines are now American Made.

The single 4 strokes are made by Fuji Heavy Industries ,the Owner of Subaru automobiles.

The 2 strokes and Twins are made by Polaris themselves I think.

They have a nice 80hp/145hp with turbo 750 4 stroke twin built by "Weber Motors" but it only goes in there Sleds and Jet Skis..

I thoght the reason that polaris bought up part of KTM ,was that we were going to see some different motors in the twin cylinder category

The 425 and 500 engines are some of the best made. They run almost forever if you use good oil and change it when you should.

Use the Polaris oil and run it over 40 hours and you can have problems.
