front axles

Default front axles

does anyone know if the front axles are both the same as in i can use a left to replace my right in a 01 sportsman 500

yes I believe they are, look at parts # on ronnies .com

as far as i know there is no right or left so there interchangeable.

they are interchangable. Just make sure it's a front axel :-)

Got it all back together i put a axle ,hub,bearing,rotor and capiler in the right front all went back very easy when i went to use the awd the right does not work so i checked the power got it,pulled it back apart to check the coil when i turn the switch on it pull the metal ring right to it what could be the problem ,the axle broke why i had to do this

how hard is it to pull the armature plate away from coil, should be pretty hard, if its easy its probably bad coil

checked it today after church and the armature plate pull right to the coil.it not really what i call hard to pull off maybe takes 1 lbs to pull it off. should it be real hard,anyway cleaned it and put back together and seemed to work then but for how long i don't know
